Objective for Quality Management

The target for the quality that ECISGROUP SpA aims to achieve is to provide high quality products, whether they are complete systems, packages, components or engineering in accordance with the rules / laws and contractual requirements while meeting the needs of the client and leading him, consistent with its financial commitment, towards more reliable solutions, and specifically:

The continued involvement of staff on business goals and the development of professionalism and cooperation of personnel at all levels;
The maximum cooperation with its customers (Business Partner) and interested parties to meet their needs;
The maximum cooperation with partners and service providers, because a mutually beneficial relationship enhances the ability to create value for customers, for Environment and Security;
The continuous improvement of performance (effectiveness) towards the customers, the environment and health and the safety of workers;
The prevention of pollution in all its forms and the protection against risks to which the workers may be exposed;
The compliance of the activities carried out by ECISGROUP SpA with binding law, applicable even to matters relating to quality, environment and health and safety on the job;
To make business choices towards a healthy and balanced development and towards profitability;
The evolution towards a corporate structure that allows us to become a reference Engineering Procurement Coordinator;
To continuously improve the performance we established a system of directional control that, through the setting of targets and their monitoring, allows to pursue the business effectiveness and efficiency (in terms of business, quality, environment and of on job security);
This policy is distributed to be understood and shared by all the resources and players that work for ECISGROUP SpA, it is made available to all interested parties and is periodically reviewed to ensure its continuing suitability.

The company Top Management is committed to implement and enforce this program, and delegates to the Quality Management Service the task to coordinate the system and supervise with the necessary freedom and authority to identify, propose solutions and take the necessary actions to achieve the objectives of improvement and customer satisfaction.

SAFETY POLICY

Safety is an essential part of aCONTRACTOR Policy. The provision of safe working conditions is of the utmost importance to a CONTRACTOR. No activity on a project will ever be of such importance as safety. Safety will never be given up for the sake of expediency. This policy will also be imposed on all CONTRACTOR personnel and Subcontractors.

This will be achieved by:

1. Setting up a safety organisation and defining the safety responsibilities for each level of employee

2. Providing the necessary ongoing safety instructions and training for both new recruits and employees

3. Supplying the necessary means for a safe working environment and for an adequate personal protection

4. Continuously Supervising all working activitie

5. Promoting, also by an incentive program, the involvement of the individuals with the respect of safety standards.
Subcontractor “Qualified person on safety” during the training phase informs all employee about safety standard. Any violations verified by Subcontractors “Qualified person on safety” or by supervision team can lead to disciplinary actions.

6. Ensuring accurate reporting and investigation of any accidents and/or injuries, in compliance with international standards and Italian laws:

International standardANSI Z16.4 1977:
The methodology of accident investigation is the following:
- Typeofaccident
Name of the persons involved / wounded
- Nature of injury
- Materials and equipmentdamaged
- Date and time during which the accident occurred
- Placewhere the accidentoccurred
Detailed description of the accident (employee description,
- witnesses statement)
- Countermeasures enforced for this accident:
- Procedures required which will have to be enforced to
- forward the report to the competent Public Authorities.
Complying with Italian laws: in case of any injury the CONTRACTOR or his representatives must immediately notify the Police and within 24 hours the Labour Office. If the injury is very serious or fatal the place of accident must be kept untouchable for investigation. Accident must be reported to the insurance Institution

7. Encouraging, whenever possible, discussion on safety matters

8. In co-ordination with the Owner ensuring the necessary first-aid and medical assistance

9. Providing adequate financial allowances to implement this policy

10. Maintain lists of all licensed equipment and heavy equipment operators

11. Prepare a suitable Method Statement for the execution of the most critical works

CONTRACTOR will ensure that all its subcontractors will develop and maintain a Safety Management System that provides a safe working environment and prevent the occurrence of accidents, which may result in:

Injury to or ill health of any person employed or not
Damage or destruction to CONTRACTOR and Company installations and property
Shut down of any operational activities.

Every manager and functional foreman will be responsible for the health and safety of its employees and for ensuring that the working conditions do not put the health and safety of other persons at risk. Whilst the CONTRACTOR Management accepts safety matters as its primary responsibility, it is necessary in order to implement this safety policy that all employees and workers accept and fulfill their duties under this policy.

ENVIRONMENT

ECISGROUPSpa is aware that its activities are to be carried out in compliance with the environmental and safety conditions.

This is the reason why the respect for the environment , and all its standard, is an integral part of the company policy whose main aims are:

To make a product compatible with the environment that is to say with no environmental impact
To warranty the customers and users security

The above mentioned aims are achieved by:

A continuous improvement of the product
Fulfillment ofthe relevant standards
Staff training and updating through adequate courses and information documents
Verifying the learning and knowledge on environmental matters

The managing system and procedures are made to :

avoid activities and conditions that could damage health, security and environment;
minimiserisks ;
save people and community, through the best technology research, operative procedures on safety and emergency.

We are constantly careful to prevent air, water and earth contamination.

Environmental factors are extremely important in all phases and aspects of the company processes: planning, purchase, production , services and operative decisions.

The reuse and recycle of materials is applied when possible.

ECISGROUPGROUP Spa environmental quality aims are communicated to the personnel, customers, suppliers by specific procedures.

All the activities are carried out at the company offices, keeping constant the research to improve the fulfillment of the environmental policy.
